#scio10 video streams

Can’t make it to ScienceOnline2010 but wondering about what will be discussed?

With the help of talented volunteers and hopefully good Internet connections, we’re hoping to UStream some of the conference sessions live.

Assuming all goes according to plan, we’ll livestream sessions slated for Room D on the ScienceOnline channel, and the sessions slated for Room E on the TheRTP channel. All others are being recorded and will be uploaded to the Science in the Triangle YouTube channel. (We’ll Tweet when the files are there).

For those in SecondLife, we’re also hoping to broadcast the session on Science in Second Life (Saturday afternoon) real time in world. (Chances are 50/50 at this point). Follow #scio10 on Twitter for updates on this. If all else fails, we’ll stream the archived session in world along with select other sessions on the RTP island. Stay tuned for news on the live stream and a list of archived videos of sessions that will be available after the conference.

Thanks and see you at the conference.
